Vehicle Detailer

Job Description

Western Buick GMC, in the west end of Edmonton, is looking for a Vehicle Detailer to join our team. As a Wolfe Automotive Group dealer, we pride ourselves on offering training, opportunities for advancement, and a competitive compensation and benefits program. Join our award-winning team today!

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Detailing the interior and exterior of vehicles including new, pre-owned, customer and company vehicles. Perform general car detailing activities, including, vacuuming, shampooing, deodorizing, washing and waxing. Ensure the exterior of vehicles are clean and smudge-free. This may include polishing the vehicle or applying a paint sealant.
  • Clean and polish vehicle windows.
  • Wash car interiors including the upholstery, apply leather cleaning products, removing and cleaning floor mats.
  • This may include applying a stain guard.
  • Clean and polish wheels and rims.
  • Use a variety of cleaning equipment or machines to detail the interior and exterior of vehicles. These may include but are not limited to cleaning chemicals, cloths, squeegees, and air compressors.
  • Mix cleaning solutions, abrasive compositions, or other compounds/solutions, according to formulas. Notify your supervisor or appropriate technician when you notice parts of the vehicle that require repair or replacement.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Able to follow directions.
  • Work well independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver’s license and possess a clean driving record.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission.
  • Must be dependable, reliable, and have a keen ability to prioritize.
  • Standing, bending, and crouching for long periods of time.

Lot Attendant

  • Putting away inventory.
  • Perform parts delivery duties, as required.
  • Picking orders for customers.
  • Maintaining a clean work area.
